My Story

Born and raised in Taiwan, I received my education in Taiwan, Singapore, and Canada.  My background includes a Bachelor of Architecture degree from McGill University.  Trained as a designer, I worked in Singapore and San Francisco before moving back to Vancouver.

Confronted by several life transitions, I began to question my value and  purpose, and I decided to make a career change.  I became involved with community services, and volunteered as a career mentor for immigrants.  Later I decided to leave a project management position to pursuit my passion in becoming a counsellor.  I have a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Currently I share my time between private practice and my role as a Child and Youth Mental Health Counsellor in a multicultural community services organization.  I am a public speaker and have facilitated many workshops on marriage, parenting, cross cultural issues in local communities.
