Session Format

You have the option to meet in-person or virtually, choosing the format that best fits your needs and comfort level.

Online and Phone Counselling (Telehealth)

The virtual sessions are designed for your convenience and flexibility. You can save time and reduce hassle (no dealing with traffic or parking) and connect from the comfort of your home or office.

We can connect via Zoom (video counselling) or by phone (audio counselling). For our initial sessions, I recommend video counselling to help us get to know each other and build a strong therapeutic connection before switching to phone if phone counselling is what you prefer.

In-Person Counselling

I encourage meeting face-to-face during the initial stages of our work. The in-person environment allows us to connect more naturally and deeply, fostering a stronger therapeutic alliance from the start. Being physically present in the same room enhances safety and containment, which is vital when exploring vulnerable or painful topics. In-person sessions offer a focused experience where you can feel fully seen and heard.

We meet in the office, conveniently located one block north of Metropolis at Metrotown, at the northwest corner of Kingsway and Nelson Avenue in Burnaby.
